Slow Dancing “Les Atelier” style on December 19th

Les Ateliers is a monthly skill sharing, community building initiative in Ottawa.
For December it will be a fun lessons of slow dancing.
The details from the Facebook event:
Sunday December 19 · 5:30pm – 8:30pm
858 Bank St in Ottawa
Ever had that awkward moment of realizing you don’t know any dance moves beyond the straight-armed, grade 8 slow dance?
This month Les Ateliers will be hosting a slow dance party with “Dance with Alana”.
We’ll start the evening with a vegetarian potluck followed up with dance instructor extraordinaire Alana teaching the basics of slow dance. We’ll turn your two left feet into some sweet moves!
Here are a few things to note for the workshop – please read before RSVPing!!
Festive Dress is encouraged! Please bring indoor shoes.
No partner required. Just bring your lovely self and we can learn to partner dance with different people!
There will be a vegetarian potluck dinner, as per usual, so bring a dish to share!
We ask that you RSVP to this workshop by emailing lesateliersottawa@gmail.com
Workshop cost is $10, which covers our costs.
As always, Les Ateliers costs are recovery and not profit based, as our real motivators are the joys of crafting, skill sharing, and community building.

Please understand- if you commit to coming, we will be renting the studio space. As a result, we need you to pay your share, whether or not you end up actually attending. If you need to cancel, please give us a couple days notice so that we can open up the spot to everyone else.

So come out and have some fun slow dancing!!
