Operation: Overthrow McNabb taking place on March 27, 2013
Who doesn’t like a march and want to make things happen and better in this city?
On Wednesday, March 27th, McNabb is hosting a public meeting to review the preliminary concept for McNabb Park.
A skateboard park has been proposed as a component in this plan.
Come to Antique Skate shop on March 27th at 6pm to join us in our march down Florence to McNabb Community Centre where we will let the councilor and the city know that we want a permanent out door skateboard park in our community! Bring EVERYONE you know!

Here is a note from Councillor Diane Holmes of Somerset Ward
McNabb Park, located at the corner of Bronson and Gladstone, is an important park serving the Centretown community.
This well used green space is slated for redevelopment this summer and I will be hosting a public meeting to review a preliminary concept plan for McNabb Park.
Some of the proposed components in the plan include a dog park area, new play equipment, mini-soccer field, an outdoor skate-park and a community garden.
Please join us to provide your input on this exciting proposal:
